Happy Birthday!

Ayden had his first birthday today. He was more excited about his new toys than he was his cake, which I enjoyed because I did not want to see my nephew get chocolate all over himself. I don't get when parents do that to their children. I don't find it funny, nor do I see where it is fun. My brother and sister-in-law allowed their baby girl to do this on her birthday last August. After a few minutes, my niece looked absolutely upset. She did not like having chocolate all over her. I can't imagine her parents had fun cleaning her and her new high chair (which I'm sure got ruined after she got chocolate all over it). Yet, my brother and sister-in-law still laughed. I guess it's one of those things I will never understand. Mark my words though, when I have children, they will not do this on their first birthday.
